In a busy world where the noise is always on, demands are always present, and life is a distraction it may seem a luxury to have one moment where you can really get to know yourself. However, self discovery is not only a poetic concept but is also a vital aspect of development, recovery and harmony within oneself. Me, Myself, and I is a journey of inner, inner, inner looking into yourself, facing your truths and being comfortable with yourself at all the multiple levels of who you are. It is not about being perfect but about being real, that is to learn to live in accordance to your major values even when the world is drawing you differently.

The Meaning of Self-Discovery.
A process of knowing what you think, feel, what you value, and what drives you is called self-discovery. It puts hard questions: Who am I as not a role and not to relationships? What do I truly want? What gives my life meaning?
It is a journey individuals take when the backbone that they have been used to suddenly starts shaking as a result of significant changes in their lives such as the end of a relationship, a career change, or even a crisis. However, one does not need to go through a dramatic experience to discover himself or herself. It begins with inquisitiveness - a readiness to investigate the inner world and not to pass judgment on it.
Fundamentally, Me Myself I shows this eternal exploration: it is important to recognize that the way you feel about yourself dictates the quality of all the other relationships you have in your life.
Thought: The Reflexion of Life.
The friend of self discovery is reflection. It’s the process of retrospect, to study the past to have gained learning. Journaling, meditation, or just taking some quiet time to pause, reflection will assist you in seeing patterns, finding lessons and processing what you have been going through.
As you move back and think, you are surprised how far you have changed. Things you used to pursue might not be relevant; the relationships that broke up might have taught you resilience or self esteem. Reflection assists you in linking the dots of who I was, who I am and where I am going to be.
The Difficulties of Knowing Yourself.
Self-discovery is a great sounding notion, which is also disturbing. It usually involves facing insecurities, making wrong decisions, and recognizing the fears that we would not like to acknowledge. Introspection scares many individuals away since it makes them look at the unknown- and sometimes even the truth.
However, it is at these awkward times that development occurs. When you take a risk to be with your unpleasantness, you start to figure out what has been dragging you back. You cease to be on autopilot and begin to live purposefully. Although a difficult practice, self-awareness is the key to true happiness and emotional liberty.
Activities That promote Self-Discovery.
Discovering yourself is a lifelong process, however, it can be enhanced with the help of such tools:
Journaling: It is good to keep notes at the end of the day to help you analyze the thoughts and feelings.
Mindfulness and Meditation: These are the practices that allow you to be in the present and realize how you react and how you were responding.
Solo Travel or Walking in Nature: Walking alone can provide insights that cannot be seen in a social setting.
Creative Expression: Art, music, or poetry: This is where your subconscious is free to express itself.
Therapy/Coaching: Coaching can assist you in discovering blind spots and gaining a better insight into yourself and professional guide may assist you in this process.
